Network 2000 has recently successfully completed the structured cabling installation of 380+ cat 6 data outlets and both copper and fibre optic backbone infrastructure at the new Haemophilia & Hepatology Inpatient Building on the St James’s Hospital Campus.
County Galway VEC – Wi-Fi Rollout
Network 2000 have completed the rollout of Wi-Fi in 12 schools in Galway VEC. The project was completed in conjunction with Agile Networks and incorporated schools across the county including schools on Inis Mor, Inis Oirr & Inis Meain.

Network 2000 has recently successfully completed the structured cabling installation of 700+ cat 6 data outlets and both copper and fibre optic backbone infrastructure at the financial company’s new office at The Observatory on Sir John Rogersons Quay in Dublin.
Dublin Airport Authority
Network 2000 successfully tendered and won the data point installation, copper and fibre patching contract at Dublin Airport. The contract runs until April 2015 and Network 2000 will be responsible for the installation, termination, test and certification of all data outlets required by the DAA at Dublin Airport. By 2015, Network 2000 will have held this contract for a total of 10 years.
Network 2000 secures the TE Connectivity ND&I Certification.
This allows network 2000 to supply and install TE Connectivity products such as Krone and Amp Netconnect Structured Cabling Systems and on completion the client is given a full installation warranty from TE Connectivity which stands over the installation for 25 years.
Network 2000 successfully secures the Fault Resolution & Maintenance Contract at Dublin Airport.
In January 2011, Network 2000 successfully tendered and secured the Fault Resolution & Maintenance Contract on the DAA Network at Dublin Airport until January 2014.
The Contract involves carrying out fault resolution and maintenance services 24 hours a day, 365 days per year at Dublin Airport.
The services we will be providing to the DAA include:
• Fault Resolution on the DAA Network (valued in excess of €90m)
• Day to Day Maintenance on the DAA Network
• Preventative Maintenance
• Disaster Recovery Support
• Infrastructure Documentation
• Escorted Access 24/7, 365
• 24/7, 365 Call Out Service
Network 2000 successfully completes the Specialist System Patching Dublin Airport Terminal 2 for SITA.
Network 2000 successfully completed the patching of all specialist systems in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport.
The project involved the patching of all specialist system equipment on both copper and fibre optic infrastructure.
The systems patched in the project include; CCTV, Access Control, CATV, Local Area Network, Wireless Local Area Network, Security Screening, DAS Cell, DAS Radio, CUTE, FIDS, Lifts & Escalators, BMS, TELCO, Mobile Operators etc…
The project was completed successfully, on time and in total over 10,000 circuits was patched and fully documented.
Network 2000 secures the Belden CSV Certification.
This allows network 2000 to supply and install Belden IBDN Structured Cabling Systems and on completion the client is given an Extended Belden IBDN System warranty from Belden which stands over the installation for 25 years.
